TONY BENNETT, CPCU, CIC, managing partner Tony received his B.S. in Insurance and Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University and has done post-graduate work in Logistics Management, as well as earning both his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. He is a long-time member of Insurance Agents and Brokers of PA, MD and DE (formerly PIA) and the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. While not busy at work, he volunteers as a local fire fighter and is active in Rotary International. Together with his wife, Ann, they own and operate Famous & Spang Associates.
GREG BENNETT, personal & commercial lines producer ** A 3rd generation family employee, Greg graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a B.S. in Wood Science and Forest Products Marketing & Management, and after seven years working in the forest products industry, joined the family business in 2012. He is a 2013 graduate of the National Alliance School for Producer Development in conjunction with the Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance at The Florida State University, and is currently working on obtaining his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. In his free time, Greg enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
LINDA CLARK, CISR, commercial customer service representative ** Linda is a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College’s certificate program and has been working in the property & casualty insurance industry since 1973. She actively holds her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and runs the agency’s commercial lines customer service department. In her leisure time, Linda enjoys reading, outdoor walks, Zumba and spending time with her family.
ANN BENNETT, CIC, Office Administration Ann is a 1973 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. She is the daughter of former owner & business namesake Charles Spang, and is now a partner in the business with her husband, Tony. She holds CIC designation and handles the agency’s financial administration.
HOLLY BENNETT, Personal Lines and Agribusiness Customer Service Representative ** A 3rd generation family employee, Holly graduated from Penn State in 2002 with a B.S. in Animal Science. She worked for 10 years as a horse trainer at Al-Marah Arabian Horses in Tucson, AZ, before moving back to Maryland and joining the agency. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, kayaking and spending time with her dogs.
