In December, Taken will celebrate its 5th birthday. Five years of showcasing artists and makers, of being part of a thriving creative community of celebrating the things that help you tell your story.

This year has brought changes to all our lives, and being a small business owner in 2020 has brought unexpected challenges. But more than anything 2020 has reminded us that there is incredible power in creativity, there is opportunity for us to leverage our buying power and there is a strong community here in Maryland who value makers.

As we open our transformed space into the 2020 Taken Holiday Shop this Saturday we will be celebrating. We’ll be celebrating the power of creativity, the hope that this season brings and the support we feel from all of you!
