Protecting Maryland citizens should always be a top priority of Government.

We’ve seen crime increase in certain areas of the state year after year with no end in sight.  Weak crime policies have led to repeat violent offenders wreaking havoc on our streets.  For the past several years I have supported Governor Hogan’s crime legislation that would help get repeat, violent offenders off of our streets and in jail where they belong.  This legislation has passed out of the Senate but has had no action taken on it in the House. We are committed to passing this legislation for a third, and hopefully final time.
