Tax Relief

Over the past four years I’m proud to have voted and spoken out against tax increases and expansions on everyday Marylanders.

The high tax rate has led to Maryland being an undesirable place for our senior citizens to stay and enjoy their retirement years.  Retirees who have spent most or all of their lives living in Maryland and supporting their local economy should have the option to stay in Maryland in comfort and affordability. I’m proud to have co-sponsored Governor Hogan’s proposed legislation to eliminate 100% of state retirement taxes.
